Spring is a great time to visit Georgia. The average temperatures in Atlanta are in the high 60’s – 80’s towards the end of May.
Summers are generally hot and humid, although the mountains are cooler. Average temperatures in Atlanta are in the high 80’s.
Fall in Georgia is also very pleasant and you can even see fall foliage. The average temperatures start in the low 80’s to the low 60’s as you get closer to winter.
Winter in Georgia is generally mild, however, it can hit below zero and snow. Average temperatures in Atlanta are in the 50’s. Generally, it will be much colder at night, so I’d suggest a winter jacket.
