Go-to Packing Items for Any Trip

Generally, when packing for a trip, the below items are always with me regardless of where I am going. Many of these items are just better when I bring them from home.

Universal Adaptor

Unless I am traveling within the USA, this travel adaptor comes with me, and I’ve had it for over 4 years now with no issues. If you get these abroad, many times they are more expensive than getting from home. This is because they know you forgot it lol. Find it here!

Travel Power Bank

Having a power bank is a lifesaver for me. I don’t leave for a trip without it because as a content creator, it is important to have battery! Shop Power Banks here!

Quick Dry Towel

Quick-dry towels have become my new best friend. They are lightweight, super absorbing, and extremely compact. My favorite brand is Dock & Bay since they make efforts toward the environment. I’ve had them since 2018, and they are still doing great. Find it here!

Sunscreen

You can never go wrong with bringing your own sunscreen, especially when traveling to Asia! I prefer to use all-natural sunscreens that are also coral reef safe. My favorite brand is Juice Beauty. It takes a little extra rubbing in, but I’ve found it works and the bottle is small enough for a carry-on. Find it here!

Reusable Water bottle

I never leave the house without my Lifestraw water bottle, so naturally, it comes with me when I travel. This bottle comes with a filter that is supposed to protect against bacteria, parasites and microplastics, chlorine, and organic chemical matter such as pesticides and herbicides.

While it’s my favorite bottle, it does come with a few cons. The filter gives the water a little bit of a weird taste, and the filter makes it a little hard to sip through the straw. If I am going somewhere I know I don’t need to worry about the water, I bring my Thermos instead so I can fill it with either cold or hot drinks.

Feminine Products

You would be surprised how hard it is to get feminine products in different countries, especially tampons. I always pack some just in case!

Bar Shampoo

I love bar shampoo for so many reasons. It reduces the amount of liquids I need to pack, the bars are small, they last long, and reduce plastic waste. I love the Lush bars. I’ve tried Montalbano, Seanik, and Jumping Juniper (my fav!) Check Lush here!

Refillable travel Containers

Not all my products come in travel size and I try to only have a carry-on so these work perfectly and they are eco-friendly by reducing plastic. Shop them on Amazon.

Camera Backpack

If you are like me, your camera comes everywhere with you. I came across this Lowe Pro backpack that has traveled with me all over the world.

I love that it holds all my camera gear, my laptop and still has a top pocket that can fit all my toiletries. It also has a rain shield that can also act as theft protection!

The only downside is that it’s a little bulky, but it holds so much stuff! Check it out here!
